So I noticed that occasionally, some Kindle ebooks are put on sale for FREE. That’s pretty awesome considering they aren’t your typical free ebooks. Here’s a selection of free ones you’ll like, while they last.
I got some great response from people on the facebook page when I posted a few of these that I found. I thought it might be nice to have a list of them all in one place for the day so I don’t fill up your facebook stream. Besides, facebook doesn’t show page posts to most people even though they’ve liked the page.
It takes a while to come up with these and lay them out here but if you guys would like to see something like this more often, I’ll definitely do it. For this set, I pulled some survival books, a few fiction books that looked interesting, and a few prepper/homesteading type of books.
By the way, you don’t have to have a kindle to read them. Just down load Kindle for PC and you can read them on your computer.
So here’s what I found today – 7 May, 2014:
Free survival ebooks
(Scroll down in each review box to read more reviews)
Practical Wilderness Skills and Thoughts on Survival
Free prepper fiction ebooks
The Survivors: Book One (Life After War)
Primal Shift: Part 1 (A Post Apocalyptic Thriller)
Free prepping and homesteading books
JeBouffe Home Canning Step by Step Guide (second edition) Revised and Expanded
The Poor Man’s Prepping Guide: How to Prepare for Disaster on a Shoestring Budget (Stay Alive)
[///UPDATE/// – no longer free but still worth looking into]
Like I said, if you like knowing about these free things, let me know in the comments below. I also see some books that are discounted heavily on occasion but I figured you’d at least like to see the free ones I find. Let me know what you think or if you have any other ideas about what I should post in this kind of article…
Good Morning Sir, the last book is no longer free. The Poor Man’s Prepping Guide: How to Prepare for Disaster on a Shoestring Budget (Stay Alive).

Got it. Thanks for the update. I’ll have to update the post.
You’ve got quite a collection of excellent articles. I really appreciate your no hype, no BS approach. After reading the post on “What documents do you need in your bug out bag?” I decided to research books to download on a kindle. I was disappointed to see the SAS Survival Handbook was not available in digital format. Have you found a way around that?

Try prepperlinks.net. I think that book was on their download list, plus hundreds of others.
I definitely want to know what free prep books you find! Thank you!
