Emergency preparedness from a Counterintelligence Agent

Free and discounted prepper/survival books and ebooks

free and discounted prepper books and ebooksSo if you remember last week, I posted some free kindle books on facebook and a lot of people really liked that. I ended up writing an entire article about free prepper or survival ebooks to see how well it works. This is for the week of 16 May 2014.

Well, it looks like it was a pretty big hit. According to my stats, that page was visited about 3,000 you guys actually looked at almost 4,000 ebooks from it and got 100 things. No idea what those things are but I’d imagine almost all of them were those books. It seems like it was a useful post, so I thought I’d try it again.

The ebooks are made to be read with on a Kindle but you can also use your iphone, tablet or computer with this download

When I did it last time though, I saw some really great deals on books that you may be interested in but I ignored them because they weren’t free. I thought this time I’d show you what I came across that were either free or had a big discount.

I also decided to throw in some real books into the mix because some people would rather read something on paper – like me.

Here are some free kindle ebooks as well as some great ones that have a big discount:

Survival ebooks

Survival Guide for Beginners

Practical Wilderness Skills and Thoughts on Survival

Survival Tactics

If you don’t have a copy of this one, you need it. You probably should consider the paperback version as well. It’s a great resource:
SAS Survival Handbook: The ultimate guide to surviving anywhere

The Survival Medicine Handbook: A guide for when help is NOT on the way

Free or discounted prepper/survival/SHTF fiction books

The Survivors: Book One (Life After War)

Primal Shift: Part 1 (A Post Apocalyptic Thriller)

Desperate Times

Discounted prepper-related books on paper

Last Last Chance: A Novel

2030: The Real Story of What Happens to America

Found a rather unique and useable prepper resource called: Goal Setting for Preppers: S.M.A.R.T. by Scott Kirshner M.Ed. There are many books available about prepping but few venture into the specific details on how to get started using written goals. Without a written goal the prepper does not have an effective method of measuring their prepping success or to know if they are on track. Additionally, information is provided on why most people fail at the goals they set for themselves and ways to avoid these pitfalls. Definitely worth the read.
